A. Every case is unique and will be treated as such based on its own individual circumstances and merits. Some families need supervised visitation services for only a temporary period and have their normal parenting time schedule reinstituted after only a few visits. Other cases may require long-term supervised visitation services as a result of many possible contributing factors, such as: a current civil protection order, pending criminal or civil court proceedings, and severe mental health, violence, or substance abuse issues that interfere with a parent’s ability to safely spend time with their children outside of a supervised environment.
